The relationship between positive behavior, student attentiveness, and school dress is well established in educational research. Springwood believes that the dress code reflects the high standards and expectations we hold for students. All Springwood students are required to adhere to the published dress code. Decisions regarding areas not specifically addressed by the general dress code will be made at the discretion of faculty and administration and will be communicated to specific individuals or groups as needed. The dress code is in effect at school and for all school functions. School functions such as field trips and special events such as dances, banquets, and the Prom will require a special standard of dress to be communicated prior to such events.
