Art and Theater Camp is open to children ages 5-12.
Here is your artistic students chance to participate in a four day fun-filled experience. In Art from A to Z including one on one instruction on how to learn the basics through hands-on projects. Imagine, being given the instruction on how to change a doodle into a masterpiece, a lump of clay into a priceless sculpture or simply how to draw and paint a field of wildflowers. Each art project focuses on developing creativity and showing how fun and exciting art can be! The activities include traditional painting, sculpting, creating recycled art, watercolor water gun painting, and games.
The Theater camp at Springwood is design to prepare your theatrical student through instruction with acting to set design, costume design to stage management. Our mini-production provides hands on training for future Thespians, directors, or those who just enjoy being behind the scenes. The show cannot go on unless talented personnel are there to provide the acting, the costumes, the backdrops, the lighting, the music and the stage management. Is there a shy Bob Fosse or another Susan Stroman hiding in our midst? Here’s your chance to shine!
