The Mission of the Springwood School Parent Teacher Organization is to help our students and staff provide a quality education in a nurturing environment focusing on mind, body, and spirit.
The Springwood PTO does not hold regular monthly meetings, but rather serves through 8 primary work areas in order to support the families, staff and students of our school. If you are interested in helping with any of these and have not already signed up, please contact your classroom representative. Work areas/committees include
Spirit Store, Prayer Team, Teacher & Staff Appreciation, Beautification, Fundraising, Box Tops, New Families, and Field Day.
PTO collects Box Tops for Education. Box Tops can be placed in the school house collection box located in the FAC lunchroom or given to homeroom teachers. Please note: Box Tops do expire so please be mindful of their expiration date.
You can support Springwood School every time you buy groceries! Each Kroger shopper is required to enroll his or her Kroger Plus Card.
Each year, PTO uses part of the proceeds from its fundraiser to provide programs and events such as Field Day, Teacher and Staff Appreciation, Campus Beautification and a Breakfast for New Springwood Parents. PTO is also able to make a yearly contribution to the Annual Fund to help support everyday school needs such as teacher supplies, technology and the Media Center. Last year the PTO also provided funds for Elementary Playground upgrades and renovations.
